Ever wonder what instructors do while students are on Spring Break? Last week, The Art Institute of California – Orange County faculty were put to the test in the Faculty Kitchen Challenge. Instructors from all programs including Fashion, Graphic Design and Media Arts & Animation, were taken out of their element and put to work in the kitchens.Working in teams, they prepared a set menu under the supervision of five Culinary Arts instructors. When the meal was ready, everyone enjoyed lunch.
The kitchen challenge was designed to bring faculty together to learn different teaching methods while discussing challenges and successes experienced in the classroom.
